A comedic, heartfelt look at the unlikely and unusual relationship between Philip (Bryan Cranston), a billionaire with quadriplegia, and an unemployed man with a criminal record, Dell (Kevin Hart) who is hired to help him.

A remake of the record-smashing French film, The Intouchables (2011), and based on a real life relationship between Philippe Pozzo di Borgo and Abdel Sellou, this story has also been depicted in the French documentary La vie comme un roman: A la vie, à la mort(2003), the Indian film Oopiri (2016), and the Argentinian film Inseparables (2016).

Fireflies bring to life the trials and triumphs of 18-year-old Léo, a teenager waiting to finish high school and escape her narrow life in a small industrial town. The story centers on the strong friendship between Léo and her much older guitar teacher, Steve, which defies expectations as it touches on the characters' battling egos and negotiations of power. Named Best Canadian Film winner at TIFF, the film has been added to the festival’s annual Canada’s Top Ten list.
