You will be inspired by this moving film based on the remarkable life of mathematician Anand Kumar and the students of his educational program, Super 30.
As documented in local Maple Ridge author Dr. Biju Mathew’s book, Super 30, Kumar drafts 30 educationally bright yet underprivileged students into his coaching program each year – free of cost – giving them a shot at the prestigious, highly competitive, and daunting entry exam for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Starring one of India’s hottest actors, Hrithik Roshan, Super 30 is a story of Kumar’s struggle and achievement, and how one person can make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged students.
Following light appetizers, provided by Maharaja Catering, your evening includes an onstage interview with Dr. Biju Mathew, Anand Kumar, and his brother, Pranav led by Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News Publisher, Lisa Craik, and a screening of the film.
Join us for one of the few North American presentations as we celebrate the aspirations and successes of youth and the power of change on an international scale.
*Your ticket includes the reception, on stage interview, the film entry and tax receipt. (Tax-deductible portion will be determined after the event)
Ticket sales for Super 30 are now closed. Thank you for your support.
