IMPORTANT PROGRAM INFORMATION

Accessing the building
The ACT Arts Centre is open during regular business hours. Please note that all visitors, 5-years old and over require masks to enter the building.
Class Sizes and Delivery
No shared equipment/materials
Strict social distancing at all times

Cleaning/Sanitizing
Enhanced cleaning protocols are in place to keep everyone safe. We ask you to follow the directions of staff and instructors.
This includes regular hand-washing and strict social distancing.
Face masks/coverings are required for all participants 5-years old and over. We encourage younger children where appropriate to wear a mask/covering when moving around the facility.
Registration
Registration is only available online and by phone at 604-467-7422.
Program consent forms (link to PDF) must be completed and returned via email before a class starts to learning@mract.org.
Once you’ve registered, you will receive information from our program team via email with specific instructions, safety measures, and procedures.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If we cancel a program - A full refund will be processed or full credit will be applied to your Customer Account.
Customer refund requests - Refunds will be issued prior to the start date of the second class and will be pro-rated. Non-attendance without notification is not accepted as a refund request. Single-day programs must give 24 hours notice or no refund will be issued.
Medical refund requests - Due to COVID-19, we have temporarily waived the necessity of a medical certificate. Those who must withdraw from the program for medical reasons can do so without the note. You must inform us if you are withdrawing for medical reasons and this must be done ASAP, and before the end of the program.
In The Event of Illness
Should a participant feel unwell in any way before class, please let us know and do not come to The ACT.
Should a participant become unwell during class:
Children – The child will be isolated from other participants and cared for by staff using appropriate Personal protective Equipment (PPE). The parents/guardians will be contacted and must come and collect the child immediately.
Adults – If the adult is well enough to transport themselves home, they must leave immediately. If they require assistance, they will be isolated and will wait to be collected by their emergency contact.
Staff – Staff will not attend work if unwell in any way and will leave immediately if they become unwell.
Adults/staff/parents/guardians will contact their local Public Health Authority and follow their instructions
The ACT will continue to follow all advice from the Fraser Health Authority.
