For over 50 years, the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council and The ACT Arts Centre have been the primary providers of diverse arts experiences and activities in Maple Ridge and the surrounding communities. The ACT Arts Centre is the leading provider of engaging, vibrant, and excellent Performing Arts Presentations, Arts Learning Programs, and Gallery Exhibitions, welcoming over 80,000 patrons annually.

Opened in 2003, the 486-seat theatre, studio theatre, art gallery, instruction studios, and soaring lobby space are home to many cultural and community events, delivering over 674 diverse arts and cultural programming events and activities annually.
