In 1984, Johnny Cash invited Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson to perform on his Johnny Cash Christmas TV Special, filmed in Switzerland. When they returned to the hotel, they began jamming and spending time together—and that’s how the Highwaymen came to be.
The Highwaymen Show pays tribute to the great American Outlaws of Country Music—Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson. The show covers all of the greatest hits, including:
“Mama Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys”
“Always on My Mind”
“Me and Bobby McGee”
“Folsom Prison Blues”
