About the Exhibition
The Garibaldi Art Club’s juried exhibition at The ACT Art Gallery brings together a selection of the best and most recent works created by its members. The exhibition theme and title, Journeys, encompasses both the physical experience of travel and the emotional process of growth and self-discovery.
Each artist has chronicled the passage of time and the path of their life in their own unique style. The artworks in this exhibition reflect these personal stories which have been grouped together to form a visual narrative that evokes both travel and transformation.
About the Garibaldi Art Club
Formed in 1959, The Garibaldi Art Club brings together both emerging and professional artists to share inspiration and creativity primarily in the medium of paint. With a current membership of 74 artists, the group exhibits artworks several times each year throughout the Lower Mainland.
