The Listening Lounge Series is a casual cabaret-style experience that brings a variety of musical genres to hungry, curious ears. Gather around a table to meet new people or connect with old friends, enjoy a small plate of nibbles and your favorite beverage to start the weekend off right.

THE FRETLESS

For more than ten years, The Fretless have been burning up stages around the world with their masterful compositions and a genre-bending fresh takes on traditional Folk, Bluegrass, and modern Celtic music.

With the bones of a classical string quartet — two fiddles, a viola, and a cello- the Toronto-based supergroup of four celebrated solo artists – Trent Freeman (fiddle, viola), Karrnnel Sawitsky (fiddle, viola), Ben Plotnick (fiddle, viola), and Eric Wright (cello)- deliver high-energy performances that have wowed crowds and earned them a Western Canadian Music Award, Canadian Folk Music Awards, and a JUNO^TM Award, and has performed with the Cologne Philharmonic, at Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra Hall, Shetland Folk Festival, Festival Internacional Cervantino, and sharing the bill with Canadian fiddle legend, Natalie McMaster at the National Arts Centre among many diverse stages.
