It’s Christmas Eve, and amid the festivities, young Clara receives a special gift from her magical and mysterious Uncle Drosselmeyer - a toy Nutcracker, which comes to life and takes her on a magical journey.
Be transported at any age by this beloved Christmas tradition. A timeless musical score, beautifully imagined and executed choreography, brilliantly costumed dancers, and imaginative staging with humour make this an annual family holiday classic.
Ballet Victoria, now in its 20th season, is an innovative company dedicated to originality. Artistic Director, Paul Destrooper and his company of 12 professional dancers have produced close to one hundred new works, and toured in Canada, the USA and Mexico.
