Board of directors Application

The ACT Arts Centre is seeking members to fill vacant positions on its Board of Directors. Individuals may submit their own name or provide their consent to be nominated to the Nomination Committee. The Board meets monthly on the 1st Monday evening of each month (or the following Mon. if a Stat holiday.) Members should also be available for committee work, occasional meetings and attending some ACT events outside of the regular meeting schedule. Please note that this is a volunteer position.

When considering a nominee, please forward names of skilled professionals in their field who possess some of the following professional skills and experience: Legal; Financial and /or Accounting; Fundraising; Human Resources; Strategic Planning; familiarity with not-for-profit organizations; past board experience; interest in governance; and a commitment to the continued development and future of the arts in our community.
