With catchy hooks, lush harmonies, and thoughtful lyrics, the Juno Award-winning Vancouver-based Said the Whale brings their crowd-pleasing, eclectic blend of folk, pop, and rock music to the Mainstage. These alternative radio chart-toppers’ are beloved for their catchy melodies, upbeat rhythms, and introspective lyrics.
A staple in the Canadian indie rock scene for a decade and a half, members Tyler Bancroft and Ben Worcester, keyboardist Jaycelyn Brown and bassist Lincoln Hotchen bring themes of love, loss, and personal growth to life through energetic live performances, blending different genres into their music for a unique sound.
With legions of fans and six albums, their distinct West Coast flavour draws comparisons to Arcade Fire and The New Pornographers.
