The Listening Lounge Series kicks off your weekend in style by offering a relaxed, cabaret-style atmosphere where you can indulge in a variety of musical genres. Grab your favourite drink and gather around a table to meet new people or reconnect with old friends while enjoying great music.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Journey through West Africa with the Sophie Lukacs Trio as they blend Mandingo, folk, pop, and classical music genres. Inspired by her time in Mali and her rich musical background in Western classical violin and Hungarian folk music, kora-player Sophie Lukacs has crafted a distinctive folk style. Her music, infused with love, empathy, and vulnerability, forges an intimate bond with audiences all over. Joined on stage by cello and percussion, Sophie brings a diverse musical blend to the Listening Lounge, singing in English, French, Bambara, and Hungarian.
